A man believed to be in his early forties was discovered in a distressed and disoriented state, wandering alone on a street in Phum’lamqashi, sparking an urgent appeal for public assistance.
According to witnesses who engaged with him, the man identified himself as Kagiso Nare and alleged that he stays in Madala. However, due to his unstable condition, he was unable to provide any further details about his family, his exact address, or how he ended up in the area.
Concerned community members alerted authorities after finding him in a vulnerable condition and in need of urgent care. Police are now appealing to anyone who may recognise him or know his relatives to come forward to help reunite him with his family.
Anyone with information that could assist is urged to contact their nearest police station or call the SAPS emergency number on 08600 10111. The man is currently in safe care while efforts continue to trace his family.
